The Seven Species Tallit
The colors of these tallit are the colors of the land of Israel. The Middle Eastern blue skies, mix with the pastel colors of the sun burnt land, and the green that covers its landscapes. The land of Israel is beautiful, and so are its fruits. The land has been blessed with seven species: wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey. All of the seven species are woven on this tallit in a magnificent and special gobelin weaving. You can almost smell and taste them.
In the fabric, the blooming nature of our land is showing. A sukkah that was built in the yard between the houses for the holiday. You look at this masterpiece and you feel that you are walking on the roads of Israel. The tallit sends the bless of the holy land to the four wings of the world and spread the scents of Israel.
Through all the generations, covered with their talitot, Jews prayed to return to their promised land. The prayer has been replied and fulfilled. Today, Jews may adorn themselves with the seven species tallit and cover themselves with the love of our land.
